Anne-Marie House – provide assistance at the Greater Nashua Interfaith Hospitality Network.
Communications Team – facilitates communication across UUCM and with external audiences by producing the church’s website, newsletters, external communications, and other print/electronic forums.
Community Suppers – builds community and provides a free hot meal to anyone in surrounding communities. UUCM suppers are the third Wednesday of each month.
Congregational Development Committee – nominates officers and representatives of the Church Council and Trustees of the Endowment, and assists placing volunteers in key positions, such as chairs of standing committees.
Crafts Group – Although the stated purpose of this group is the work of creating things for the annual Holiday Fair, in fact, it’s a lively and caring group of people who open their hearts, as their hands are busy with needle, thread, scissors or glue.
Faith Formation Committee -assists in planning the children’s religious education curriculum.
Finance Committee – prepares and monitors the annual budget and acts on other financial issues.
Friday Guys – Each Friday morning, the “Friday Guys” (guided by the Property Committee) tackle the seemingly endless list of maintenance and improvement tasks that accompany our lovely, old historic building.
Membership Committee – welcomes visitors and newcomers to the UUCM community and provides information about our congregation and the Unitarian Universalist denomination. This committee works to build fellowship among members and friends.
Nashua Soup Kitchen – UUCM prepares and serves noontime meal on second Sunday of each month at the NSK.
Partner Church Committee – focuses communications with our Partner Church in Szentmihaly, Transylvania (Romania), and identifies opportunities for assistance and cultural exchange.
Pastoral Care Network – mobilizes caring people within UUCM to provide basic support services to individuals or families dealing with difficult circumstances.
Personnel Committee – provides management and guidance regarding personnel matters in the church.
Property Committee – maintains and recommends improvements to the church building and grounds, including snow removal, lawn mowing, and repairs.
Small Group Ministry — Small groups of 8-10 people meet in private homes with a trained facilitator twice a month to share their lives through thoughtful reflection and discussion.
Technical Team – prepares the sanctuary (including A/V) for Sunday services and coordinates the recording and publishing of services onto the website.
Trustees – are responsible for effectively managing the church’s endowment.
Welcoming Congregation Committee – welcomes and affirms GLBT individuals and their families and conducts education in our congregation and beyond on GLBT topics.
Women in Transition Team – support women as they are released from the Correctional Facility for Women in Concord.
Worship & Music Committee – works with the minister to plan weekly services, music, guest speakers, summer worship circles, and special services.
