The Pastoral Care Network bridges the gap between caring people and those in our church community who are in need of help during difficult times.
We provide basic support services to lessen the burden on an individual or family who is dealing with a difficult circumstance. Services we provide are:
- Baby / Child Care
- Call to be a Friend
- Caretaker Respite
- Church Representative (be on site when church is rented)
- Cook a Meal
- Help with Memorial Service
- Hospital / Home Visit
- Moving Assistance
- Offer Overnight Accommodation
- Outing for Homebound Person
- Perform Yard / House Work
- Provide a Ride
- Share a Holiday
- Shop / Run Errands
- Wellness Check via Phone
UUCM members and friends sign up to provide these services and are contacted by a member of the Pastoral Care Committee when a need arises.
